On the occasion of the provincial conference to accelerate the construction of global advanced manufacturing base, the morning of May 18, the completion and production ceremony of Phase II of Changshan Tapered roller bearing and cylindrical roller bearing manufacturing Base was held in Changshan. At the ceremony, SKF customer representatives delivered a speech, SKF China signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Fengshang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and SEW China. The participants also gave speeches on "Creating digital localization across the value chain". The launch ceremony and finishing ceremony were held on site, marking the formal completion and operation of Phase II of SKF Changshan Tapered Roller Bearing and Cylindrical Roller Bearing Manufacturing Base.
It is understood that the annual output value of the second phase project reaches 40 million sets of roller bearings, which is an important strategic initiative of SKF in China and Northeast Asia market. These bearing products are widely used in new energy vehicles, passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, mechanical transmission, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, medical and other industries, and will further consolidate SKF's position as a leading global bearing supplier. The project was signed in March 2022 and construction began in April, with a total investment of 810 million yuan, covering an area of 110 mu and the construction of 36 production channels. After full production, the annual output value of the enterprise will increase by more than 1 billion yuan.
